Golden Root, also known as Arctic Root, Rhodiola Root, Roseroot,
and Crenulin, is native to the mountainous regions of Asia, Europe,
and the Arctic, and is most abundant in Siberia. Its species name,
rosea, comes from the fact that the cut root of Golden Root has
a rose-like odour. Golden Root has been used in traditional medicine
to combat fatigue, depression, anaemia, impotence, infections,
and many other ailments. In Central Asia, Golden Root was prescribed
for tuberculosis, cancer, and influenza. In Siberia, Golden Root
was given to married couples to increase fertility and provide
healthy children. The Vikings used Golden Root to improve endurance
and enhance physical strength. In Germany, Golden Root has been
used for pain, headache, haemorrhoids, and as an anti-inflammatory.
In recent times, Golden Root has been the subject of numerous
studies in Scandinavia and the former Soviet Union, where it has
been favourably compared to Siberian Ginseng. Those studies show
that Golden Root is effective in improving cognitive function,
improving the immune system, enhancing athletic performance, promoting
weight loss, and relieving stress. Golden Root has also been shown
to have aphrodisiac properties, and has been used to treat premature
ejaculation and erectile dysfunction. Golden Root is an adaptogen,
similar in effect to Cordyceps, and boosts energy levels without
the adverse effects of other stimulants. Golden Root is now being
studied for its positive attributes in fighting depression, Parkinson's,
ADD.Golden Root Rhodiola rosea powder:
Cynomorium Songaricum:
Cynomorium Songaricum is known in Chinese as suoyang, which is
based on the herb's medicinal effects, "locking the yang."
It is obtained mainly from the East Asian species, Cynomorium
Songaricum, though the similar Coccineum is sometimes utilized
as a substitute (and is used in other countries, from Europe to
Central Asia, where it is the native species). The plant harvested
for Chinese medicine grows at high altitude, mainly in Inner Mongolia,
Qinghai, and Tibet. It is used to tonify the yang (treat impotence
and backache), strengthen the tendons, and nourish the blood to
alleviate the blood-deficiency type of constipation (typically
occurring with old age).
Tongkat Ali:
Tongkat Ali is a tree native to the jungles of Malaysia, Thailand,
and Indonesia. It is commonly known as Tongkat Ali in Malaysia
and Singapore, Tung Saw in Thailand, and Pasak Bumi in Indonesia.
The Tongkat Ali tree can grow up to about 12 meters in height.
Natives consider every part of the tree as medicine. The Tongkat
Ali roots have been used as traditional medicine. Tongkat Ali
is also promoted as a tonic, energy enhancer, and as an aphrodisiac.
Siberian Ginseng:
Siberian Ginseng Has a wide range of positive effects and is well
known to increase physical energy and stamina, improve mental
alertness and reduce stress. Siberian Ginseng has also been associated
with improved sexual function for centuries and is known to be
a powerful aphrodisiac, increasing sex drive and sexual desire.
The herb stimulates the adrenal glands into producing higher levels
of testosterone and other sex hormones.
Schisandra Chinensis:
Schizandra Chinensis contains essential oils, acids and lingams
which help regenerate liver tissue damaged by things like hepatitis
and alcohol. Its adaptogenic action may help improve mental and
physical performance, relieve fatigue and build strength. Studies
show that schizandra is effective against the bacteria related
to lung disorders. This herb provides more oxygen for the cells,
increases the body's immune system, and protects against stress.
It also acts as an aphrodisiac, by increasing men's staying power
and stimulating sensitivity in the female's genitals.
Muira Puama:
Muira Puama is believed to enhance sex drive by boosting the production
of sex hormones, in particular testosterone and by affecting levels
of certain brain chemicals such as serotonin and dopamine. One
recent clinical study has suggested that it is effective in the
treatment of impotence and low sex drive. Well over half of the
men participating in the study, who either suffered from impotence
or low libido claimed that Muira puama had a beneficial effect.
It would seem therefore, that the herb is a powerful remedy for
these conditions. The herb is not known to produce any adverse
side effects.
Saw Palmetto:
Saw Palmetto Now widely known to stimulate the libido in males
and increase sexual energy. Recent studies in Europe show that
saw palmetto is an effective treatment for many men, and that
an extract of saw palmetto can reduce prostate size by up to 13%.
Saw palmetto enhances sexual functioning and improves desire while
it reduces cholesterol and fatty acids in the blood.
Damiana:
Damiana (Turnera diffusa, syn. Turnera aphrodisiaca) is a shrub
native to Central and South America. It belongs to the family
Turneraceae.
Blooming with small yellow flowers, the shrub has an odor somewhat
like chamomile, which is due to an oil present in the plant. The
leaves have traditionally been made into a tea which was used
by native people of Central and South America for its reputed
aphrodisiac effects.
Chuchuhuasi:
Chuchuhuasi is used as a pain-reliever, muscle relaxant, and an
anti-inflammatory for arthritis, rheumatism, and back pain; as
an aphrodisiac for loss of libido (male and female); to cool and
balance adrenal function; to tone, balance, and strengthen female
hormonal systems and for menstrual disorders, libido loss, menstrual
pain and cramps; as a general tonic (tones, balances, strengthens
overall body functions) and mild immune stimulant.
Guarana Seed:
Guarana Seed is an herbal stimulant that contains a form of caffeine
called guaranine, which is 2.5 times stronger than the caffeine
found in coffee, tea and soft drinks. What makes guaranine unique
from caffeine found in beverages is its slower release. That's
because the guarana seed is fatty (even in powder form) and is
not readily water-soluble. Therefore the body does not quickly
absorb it.
Cayenne:
Cayenne is a powerful local stimulant, with no narcotic effect
largely used in hot climates as a condiment, and most useful in
atony of the intestines and stomach. It should not be used in
ordinary gastric catarrh. For persons addicted to drink it seems
to be useful possibly by reducing the dilated blood-vessels and
thus relieving chronic congestion. It is often added to tonics
and is said to be unequalled for warding off diseases. Herbalists
use it largely in pill and powder form.
Grape Seed Extract:
Grape Seed Extract is an herb that helps to protect cells from
free radical damage while promoting healthy circulation. This
is known as a powerful antioxidant similar in effect to the ever
popular and patented Pycnogenol, but far less expensive. Grape
Seed Extract is rich in polyphenols, a beneficial compound shown
as being high in antioxidants that helps to improve circulation
Kwaopet:
Kwaopet is a premium organic herbal product derived mainly from
Butea superba (Red Kwoa Krua) The herb contains flavonoids and
flavonoid glycosides with cAMP phosphodiesterate inhibitory activity
and shows vasodilatation effect especially at the penis. Thus
